Entrance Gates

I photographed this huge home from across the street at our dog groomer's house.  The entrance gate has a fireplace/chimney on each side.  I will try to find out about the chimneys.  I wonder if maybe they were from a previous home ??

Another home nearby has this vintage truck parked at their entrance gate.

Thanks for visiting, Mildred

  5. I like the green truck. The chimneys on either side of the gate are odd and they make me wonder why. Do you know? What’s your best guess?

  17. Interesting gate in that first picture. I wonder why they did it like that. There is a farm near here that has a truck that look a lot like the one in the picture

  18. The house is beautiful but very big. I do like those chimneys being reused as part of an entrance gate, they look fantastic. The truck and the fence go together nicely.
    Enjoy the new week, Mildred.
